I Got Duped

I got duped. And not just once, multiple times. Perhaps you know what I’m talking about… I got duped when I got sold by an EXTREMELY intriguing webinar title and the webinar turned out to be all about selling a program.

You show up to the webinar early (because supposedly there are a ridiculous number of people signed up and you don’t want to lose your spot), and prepared to take notes on all the good information you’re about to receive. You sit through a lengthy introduction and bio about the person giving the webinar, reminding you about the success the presenter achieved and what you’re supposed to be about to learn.

You’re on the edge of your seat.

You can see much success coming your way as a result of the webinar.

And then the webinar starts.

It may last 10 minutes or 20. Mind you, it was advertised as a 90-minute, extremely informative, “How to do it all and make it big” presentation. And the best/worst thing is — You walked into the webinar with all the information you were just told.

Perhaps you and I shouldn’t say “I was duped.”

Maybe we need to walk away from these webinars thinking, “I could make the same program as them only better!”

Or, “I don’t need to trick people to get them to buy my services.”

Do me a favor – the next time you invite me to attend one of your webinars, make sure it actually covers what it’s advertised to. Don’t waste my time.

P.S. The previous sentence was not aimed at one of our followers. It was purely a general statement asking you to pay us the same respect as we will always pay you.
